1Cypress Oil Removes Toxins

Cypress oil is a type of diuretic and, therefore, helps flush out the toxins that are internally present in the body. It increases perspiration and sweat as well, which helps the body remove excess water, salt, and also toxins very quickly. That can be quite beneficial for all of the body's systems and can prevent skin conditions, such as acne, that are caused by toxic buildup.

It also cleanses and benefits the liver and helps lower cholesterol levels naturally. The National Research Center based in Cairo, Egypt, conducted a study in 2007 and found that isolated compounds contained in cypress essential oil, which includes p-coumaric acid, caffeic acid, and cosmosiin, displayed hepatoprotective activity. The isolated compounds caused a significant decrease in triglyceride, glutamate pyruvate transaminase, glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase, and cholesterol levels while significantly increasing total protein levels when it was given to rats. Tests were performed on rat liver tissues for these chemical extracts, and the results indicated that the antioxidant compounds that are contained in cypress essential oil could eliminate the excess toxins from the body and free radicals; scavenging was inhibited as well.
